Departmental Awards & Coordinator Incentives

For the 2007 Maryland Charity Campaign the following recognition awards will be given:

The Governor's Cup*
This award is based on total dollars raised. A per-capita formula will be used to make the parameters fair for all departments.

The Participation Award*
This award is based on overall highest participation rate.

The Schaefer Cares Award*
This is also a participation award. However, it is based on highest growth in participation from the 2006 campaign to the 2007 campaign.

Note: * Three size categories will be used to create equity: Small departments are those with 499 or fewer employees; Medium departments are those with 500 - 2,499 employees; Large departments are those with more than 2,500 employees.
