A Message from the Governor and Lt. Governor
Dear Fellow State Employees:
Despite the best efforts of government at all levels, the services of charitable organizations are needed by many of Marylanders in all parts of our State. These needs include not only the basic requirements of food, shelter, and safety, but also educational and environmental programs. Fortunately, we have, in Maryland, many organizations and dedicated individuals willing to serve the needs of others. They require our help, however, in order to succeed in their mission.
Last year, the Maryland Charity Campaign raised over $3.8 million dollars for worthy causes. Your contribution to the 2007 Campaign will demonstrate the commitment of Maryland State employees to making our State - and our world - a better place, through your generosity as well as your public service.
